Job Summary

Collaborate with the PG&C Center team to design, develop, prototype, integrate, test, and assess RF or EO/IR signal processing algorithms and models. Work in engineering labs to verify and validate sensor model and algorithm performance, then integrate algorithms into hardware through full development and live-fire testing support. Apply advanced signal processing knowledge to calibrate, de-noise, detect, track, classify, and fuse sensor signals for missile system objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as a productive professional applying theoretical to advanced signal processing knowledge to support complex missile systems program objectives.
•Use and modify simulations for signal processing algorithm and model design, development, prototyping, integration, testing, and performance assessment.
•Test, verify, and validate sensor models and signal processing algorithm performance in engineering lab environments according to requirements.
•Integrate algorithms into hardware and collaborate across development phases from program start-up to live-fire testing, supporting design reviews and technical briefings.
•Collaborate on radio frequency (RF) or electro-optical / infrared (EO/IR) algorithm/model development to calibrate and de-noise sensor data and detect, acquire, track, classify objects of interest.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in STEM and a minimum of 2 years of relevant prior experience.
•Experience with the C programming language, or object-oriented programming with C++, C#, or Java.
•Experience with algorithm design, implementation, analysis, testing, or optimization.
•Ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start.
•Ability to obtain special program access after start.
