Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and deliver virtualized packages for mission baseline applications for both VDI sessions and thick clients.
  • •Validate mission application behavior with application testers and mission SMEs, and incorporate required sequencing changes.
  • •Identify and persist necessary application settings (e.g., registry, AppData) across non-persistent VDI sessions.
  • •Support virtualization and VDI teams with application delivery infrastructure configuration, including troubleshooting and performance tuning with VMware tools.
  • •Analyze, test, and apply security patches and updates; improve backup/DR and continuity of operations; document designs/test plans and resolve incidents.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience with Systems Administration/Virtualization (or equivalent substitutions).
  • •3+ years of experience with VDI technologies, including VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, or Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
  • •2+ years of experience with Citrix XenApp or comparable application virtualization technology (Microsoft App-V, FlexApp, App Volumes, etc.).
  • •8140.01M IAT Level II certification.
  • •US Citizenship required.
