Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a senior product partner to Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors to embed fixed income into holistic wealth conversations.
  • •Help drive revenue, AUM, and client penetration targets for the fixed income business across the Private Banking and Wealth continuum.
  • •Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across primary and secondary bond markets, structured credit, and yield-enhancement solutions.
  • •Ensure advisory activity, suitability assessments, and product recommendations comply with HSBC policy, regulations, and global governance standards.
  • •Escalate and manage conduct, suitability, or reputational risk issues in a timely and transparent manner, and coach/mentor junior members as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 15 years of fixed income experience within private banking, wealth management, or institutional markets across credit, rates, and structured products.
  • •Proven track record owning products and driving AUM and revenue growth in a client-facing fixed income advisory role.
  • •Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage UHNW clients, family offices, and internal senior stakeholders.
  • •Sound understanding of regulatory and suitability frameworks for private banking and premier wealth advisory in Singapore.
  • •Relevant qualifications in Finance or Economics; CFA charterholders are well regarded, and Singapore regulatory certifications (CMFAS modules and CACS) are required or to be obtained within an agreed timeframe.
