Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise monthly project accounting, including leading monthly status meetings with project managers and managing project updates across financial trackers.
  • •Review, reconcile, and report project financials, including tracking funds vs. budgets and presenting results to project leads and stakeholders.
  • •Ensure contract compliance and proper revenue recognition under GAAP; manage revenue forecast and comparisons to budget/plan.
  • •Manage client invoicing and accruals, including unbilled revenue aging, reconciliation, and support for audit deliverables.
  • •Mentor and manage junior staff, advise on best practices for client finances, and drive continuous process improvements and cost savings.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 35 - 45 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting, finance, or business.
  • •4+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience, including 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • •Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • •Experience with month-end close, revenue recognition, and project accounting.
  • •Agency or professional services experience; client services/client-facing experience is preferred.
