Job Summary

Build and evolve a self-service infrastructure platform that enables product developers to independently operate Calendly services. Work hands-on with Go and Kubernetes APIs to design tools and applications, guide development across the organization, and promote cloud-native patterns for application teams. Partner with the Infrastructure team to deliver roadmap objectives, deepen operational maturity, and improve reliability and observability for highly available production systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and build tools and applications that extend Calendly’s infrastructure platform.
•Evaluate and guide the development of applications across the organization.
•Provide patterns for application teams to consume for cloud-native application development.
•Deliver infrastructure roadmap objectives to build operational maturity.
•Participate in on-call rotation to respond to business-critical alerts outside regular hours.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and/or software development.
•4+ years of experience leading technical projects.
•Strong Go (Golang) experience, including writing APIs to build, orchestrate, and manage cloud infrastructure.
•Expertise designing and implementing cloud-native applications on Kubernetes (e.g., Controllers and Operators).
•Experience with highly-available production applications, Linux fundamentals, and reliability practices; availability for an on-call rotation.
