Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the architecture and execution of critical cryptographic infrastructure, including services needed for global regulatory compliance.
  • •Define multi-quarter technical strategies and bring clarity to ambiguous requirements for novel cryptographic solutions.
  • •Own risky, ambitious initiatives by implementing secure and resilient cryptographic protocols in a high-stakes, zero-trust environment.
  • •Act as a technical anchor and mentor by shaping engineering quality practices, driving rigorous code reviews, and eliminating single points of failure.
  • •Coordinate cross-functional execution by securing alignment with partners across Security, Product, and Policy.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of software engineering experience building highly available, distributed systems.
  • •Deep domain expertise in applied cryptography, Key Management Systems (KMS), or Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), with experience implementing cryptographic protocols (Multi-Party Computation strongly preferred).
  • •Extensive systems programming experience with Golang, Java, C++, or Rust, and ability to operate in a Golang-heavy environment.
  • •Track record operating Tier-0 or highly critical infrastructure with strict requirements for resilience, security, and low latency.
  • •Experience leading technical strategy, architecture, and deliverables for large-scale projects while navigating complex regulatory requirements.
