Job Summary

Support customers through on-site installations, system diagnoses, and service/repair of advanced semiconductor equipment. Partner with customers and R&D teams to develop leading-edge process recipes for advanced chip manufacturing, including hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOEs). Analyze experimental data statistically, compile technical reports, and perform root-cause analysis to resolve difficult process and customer product issues. Communicate with stakeholders to build trust and may lead small low-risk projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide high-visibility customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, and service/repair of complex systems and equipment.
•Work with customers to develop leading-edge processes used to manufacture advanced semiconductor chips.
•Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE); analyze data statistically and compile reports with high-level conclusions.
•Troubleshoot complex problems, perform multiple root-cause analyses, and resolve difficult process engineering and customer product issues.
•Communicate with internal stakeholders and the customer to achieve goals; act as liaison between the customer and business unit and may lead small low-risk projects.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in chemistry/physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or related field.
•4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor fab or equipment industry.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain sensitive information and build consensus among stakeholders.
•Communication proficiency in English.
•Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and resolve difficult process engineering and customer product issues.
