Key Responsibilities

  • •Own customer success through the design and delivery of a fully operational Thunder mission system.
  • •Lead technical development and integration across mission autonomy, mission equipment, and payload systems, including interoperability and open-architecture posture.
  • •Drive architecture selection and design for robotic mission systems (hardware, compute, storage, network), and define service orchestration and platform concerns.
  • •Oversee payload and weapon integration, including ICD creation (MIL-STD-1760/MIL-STD-1553) and compliance with applicable munitions/range safety and export control requirements.
  • •Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams, develop mission software processes with full lifecycle testing, and create test/simulation fixtures with software- and hardware-in-the-loop.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in a senior role delivering a military mission system.
  • •Experience managing engineering teams with many direct reports.
  • •Experience developing and sustaining distributed software platform/application architectures under dynamic network topologies.
  • •Experience with modeling and simulation, plus unit, integration, and regression test suites.
  • •Experience with safety-critical software and weapon/payload integration for autonomous systems, including interface control documentation (ICDs).
