Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to production of commercial presentations for M&A, DCM/LCM, trade finance, and project finance.
  • •Assist Senior Bankers / Relationship Managers with tasks including return analysis, profitability scenarios, and pricing quotations.
  • •Review documentation in cooperation with legal teams and credit/middle office teams.
  • •Produce sectoral analysis to support SMBC’s development strategy in France.
  • •Coordinate with international hubs and help develop/update internal reporting tools (budget/operations management, P&L tracking, Annual Credit Review).

Key Requirements

  • •Gap year/end-of-studies student in finance enrolled in a top business/engineering school.
  • •Strong analytical and synthesis ability; well organized and autonomous; team player and open-minded.
  • •Excellent communication skills in both French and English (written and spoken).
  • •Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • •Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT); strong interest in investment, economic, and banking concepts (first experience preferred).
