Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct supervision of maintenance projects to keep machinery, grounds, and buildings in working condition and meet regulatory compliance requirements.
  • •Maintain and participate in the preventative maintenance program to ensure workmanlike condition and compliance.
  • •Supervise Maintenance Department personnel day-to-day to minimize downtime, costs, and prevent accidents.
  • •Organize, work on, and assign work priorities and scheduling for repairs, maintenance, and installations supporting production operations.
  • •Supervise and maintain accurate parts inventory; participate in hiring and developing Maintenance Associates.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • •2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Knowledge of maintenance duties, programs, and requirements in a regulated food manufacturing environment (or similar industry).
  • •Knowledge of regulatory requirements for the food industry and support for maintaining utility functions (refrigeration/freezing systems, boilers, HVAC, PLC, etc.).
  • •Proficient computer skills with a focus on PM systems and Microsoft applications.
