Job Summary

Work as part of a project team to support structural delivery under supervision of senior or Principal engineers. You will follow document control and QA processes, assist with design specification compilation, and carry out detailed structural design and technical calculations to codes and standards. You’ll coordinate complex calculations, respond to day-to-day queries from the India ME team, and support trainees while helping ensure timely, high-quality construction information.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow document control and QA processes for drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence; issue, file, and archive appropriately.
•Assist in compiling design specifications within deadlines by checking compliance with the project brief through calculations and cross-referencing manufacturer literature.
•Organize and carry out detailed structural design per client requirements and standard codes, including complex calculations and coordination; support review and sign-off.
•Undertake technical calculations to industry standards, supervise delegated team work to deadlines, and report risks, issues, or client changes to the project leader.
•Prepare elemental work for project budget costing and handle day-to-day queries from the WSP in India ME team to support construction activity.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and membership to an accredited engineering body.
•4+ years of experience in structural engineering.
•Hands-on experience working with standard structural engineering software.
•Must be conversant with technical structural software such as RAM, CSC, ETABS, SAFE, and STAAD.
•Fluent in English with strong communication skills and an excellent understanding of technical terminology.
