Own end-to-end derivative hedge accounting for a portfolio of clients, serving as a subject-matter expert across interest rate swaps, cross-currency swaps, FX forwards, options, and commodity derivatives. Drive technical accounting under ASC 815 and IFRS 9, including documentation, effectiveness testing, journal entries, disclosures, and audit support. Communicate complex accounting conclusions clearly with treasury and finance stakeholders while mentoring junior team members and translating new FASB/IASB guidance into actionable impact.
