Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership developing advanced electrical and electronic building systems solutions, including low voltage power distribution, emergency power/UPS, and lighting controls systems.
  • •Design lightning protection and grounding; fire detection and voice alarm; public address systems; and passive telecommunications and security infrastructure.
  • •Develop technical drawings and specifications for electrical building systems.
  • •Collaborate with architects, engineers, and trade contractors to deliver integrated, constructible solutions.
  • •Mentor less experienced team members and conduct quality reviews to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and best practices.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 103,500 - 151,800 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.
  • •Minimum 12 years of electrical engineering and design experience on major complex building projects, with heritage project experience preferred.
  • •Experience with multiple delivery models (CM, Design Build, P3).
  • •Working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and applicable Ontario codes (Ontario Electrical Safety Code, Ontario Building Code, National Building Code of Canada).
  • •Eligibility for Canadian Federal Government Enhanced Reliability clearance is mandatory.
