Key Responsibilities

•Plan, prioritize and oversee the full development lifecycle of optimization, simulation, and forecasting systems from requirements gathering with Transport and operations teams to timeline, workflows, and on-time delivery with quality
•Communicate progress, risks, and results clearly to senior Transport leadership, ensuring strategic alignment and visibility of impacts
•Coordinate engineering, data science, product, and operations teams, removing blockers and ensuring collaboration across teams with different rhythms and dependencies
•Supervise deployment of solutions in production environments, ensuring adherence to defined technical and operational scope and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
•Define success metrics, monitor real-world impact post-implementation, and report results to technical and business stakeholders

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or higher
•At least 8 years of experience in technology projects with demonstrable work in optimization, simulation, or forecasting
•Strong technical background in mathematical optimization, operations research, linear/integer programming, metaheuristics and/or forecasting models; statistical/machine learning for time series
•Experience managing complex technology projects: scope, schedule, risks, and stakeholder communication with technical teams and executives (C-level/directors); ability to adjust communication level by audience in Spanish and/or Portuguese
•Ability to lead cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, product, operations) and remove impediments to ensure timely delivery
