Job Summary

Design, develop, and modify complex mechanical components, assemblies, layouts, and specifications for equipment used in semiconductor and display manufacturing. Perform advanced engineering analysis (thermal, structural, flow, vibration), apply DFx/ergonomics/safety, and produce technical documentation. Lead or execute engineering projects through concept to production with minimal supervision, troubleshoot complex design/manufacturing issues, and mentor junior engineers while aligning with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and modify complex mechanical components, assemblies, layouts, and specifications.
•Perform advanced engineering analysis (thermal, structural, flow, vibration, etc.) and apply DFx, ergonomics, and safety principles.
•Generate product specifications and engineering documentation.
•Develop mechanical tooling, fixturing, and handling systems for assembly and disassembly across the product lifecycle.
•Lead or execute engineering projects, troubleshoot technical issues across design/process/manufacturing/field, and mentor junior engineers.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•10+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design and development.
•Strong expertise in CAD tools (Creo, NX, or SolidWorks).
•Strong knowledge of GD&T and mechanical design principles.
•Experience with manufacturing processes and material selection.
•Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
