Key Responsibilities

  • •Create 3D CAD models and production-ready 2D drawings for camera parts, assemblies, test equipment, and related mechanical systems.
  • •Support mechanical design and integration of camera modules including lenses, image sensors, actuators, thermal solutions, electronics, flex circuits, seals, and structural components.
  • •Design and build prototypes, develop test jigs/fixtures, and conduct laboratory testing with clear engineering reporting.
  • •Perform tolerance analyses and support FEA, correlating models with physical testing and interpreting results.
  • •Investigate mechanical and electromechanical failures, identify root causes, validate corrective actions, and partner with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and vendors on fabrication and improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in mechanical engineering (or related) or equivalent practical experience.
  • •Experience applying mechanical fundamentals and analytical problem-solving to electromechanical/physical product development.
  • •Proficiency in 3D CAD and ability to create production-ready mechanical part and assembly drawings (CATIA strongly preferred).
  • •Working knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, materials, and common manufacturing processes.
  • •Experience with rapid prototyping and laboratory/mechanical measurement skills, including documenting methods and communicating results.
