Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and create onboarding workflows and maintain automated, accurate training materials customized by role.
  • •Own end-to-end payroll administration in Rippling for hourly and exempt employees, including timesheet audits, time off, premium pay calculations, off-cycle corrections, and final pay compliance.
  • •Manage benefits administration including open enrollment, qualifying life event processing, carrier data audits, EOI notices, and employee-facing benefits communications.
  • •Maintain Rippling as the system of record (employee records, job and compensation changes, onboarding/offboarding workflows, and reporting) and regularly audit data integrity with payroll and finance.
  • •Monitor and execute compliance obligations across federal, California, and San Francisco requirements, and partner on HR operations support for leaves, accommodations, and separation workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years of HR operations experience in California with exposure to both high-volume hourly and exempt populations across the employee lifecycle.
  • •Fluency in Rippling, including the ability to architect and troubleshoot as needed.
  • •Strong working knowledge of California wage and hour law, including overtime, meal and rest break rules, final pay, and regular rate calculations.
  • •Experience administering group health benefits, including carrier relationships, open enrollment, and QLE processing.
  • •Exceptional attention to detail and process ownership, with the ability to document clearly and rebuild processes that are suboptimal.
