Sanitize and wash company vehicles by following biosecurity policies and safety procedures. You will clean trucks and trailers, and when required, clean interiors/exteriors of cars and pickup trucks. Support the Sanitation Lead Person by maintaining washing equipment, assisting with facility and equipment upkeep, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety laws. The role also requires flexibility for changing plans, teamwork to meet daily goals, and readiness for emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities

•Wash and sanitize trucks and trailers.
•Clean interiors and exteriors of cars and pickup trucks when required.
•Assist the Sanitation Lead Person by properly cleaning and storing washing equipment.
•Follow Injury Prevention System (IPS) safety requirements and abide by company policies as directed by management.
•Comply with environmental, biosecurity and safety laws; report environmental issues immediately and assist with facility upkeep (e.g., cutting grass, taking out trash, cleaning inside/outside the facility).

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•Ability to do hard physical labor.
•Strong commitment to teamwork.
•Ability to follow instructions and deal with standardized situations.
•Ability to work an average 60 hour week, including weekend/evening/holiday work, and be on call for emergency situations; must be able to operate a tractor trailer in the truck yard and back trailers into and out of wash bays.
