Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as technical lead for HV primary circuit engineering on substation projects (AIS/GIS) from concept through detail design and construction support.
  • •Coordinate and guide multidisciplinary teams, including primary, secondary, civil, and commissioning engineers.
  • •Interface with project managers, clients, contractors, and authorities to ensure technical compliance, constructability, and timely delivery.
  • •Develop and review HV primary circuit designs, including substation layouts, equipment arrangements, busbar configurations, and HV cable systems.
  • •Provide engineering support during construction, installation, testing, and commissioning phases as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred
  • •10+ years of experience in T&D primary circuit design and project management with demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • •Proficiency in engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD) and strong understanding of primary circuit design principles (substation design, overhead lines, underground cables)
  • •Excellent project management skills (planning, budgeting, resource management) and experience with high-voltage primary circuit projects
  • •Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (IEC, IEEE, AS); effective communication and interpersonal skills; Nice to have Professional Engineer license / ANRE
