Key Responsibilities

  • •Accountable for safety of employees and engage in safety activities with clear, consistent communication.
  • •Support and investigate line/equipment stoppages when there is a perceived imminent safety risk.
  • •Actively participate in risk assessment and drive prioritized corrective and preventive actions to eliminate or reduce environmental, health, or safety risks.
  • •Review product quality with Quality Assurance and determine when product needs to be scrapped or placed on hold for higher-level review/action.
  • •Assist with staffing plans, set production goals, ensure equipment runs per schedule/process specifications, notify maintenance of equipment issues, and resolve problems while supervising packer handlers and machine operators.
