Key Responsibilities

  • •Assume responsibility for accurate and efficient teller functions in accordance with bank policies, standards, and security procedures.
  • •Receive and process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash checks/negotiable instruments; cash and examine documents for endorsements and negotiability.
  • •Operate an online teller terminal, process transfers between accounts, and sell traveler's checks, official checks, and money orders.
  • •Verify, balance, and maintain cash daily; detect and resolve discrepancies promptly while adhering to teller procedures and compliance requirements.
  • •Establish and maintain professional client relationships by promptly resolving requests and inquiries, maintaining customer information privacy, and cross-selling bank products and services.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •At least one year of related experience/cash handling required; previous Teller experience preferred.
  • •Good communication skills, good math skills, and good typing skills.
  • •Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment, including coin and money counting machines and adding machine.
  • •Understanding of bank operations preferred and ability to follow compliance requirements and teller procedures consistently.
