Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain stability of the distributed control plane interacting with Kubernetes and cloud provider APIs, including debugging Kubernetes issues across regions and clouds.
  • •Automate database lifecycle operations such as deploy, resize, upgrade, and fork.
  • •Participate in on-call rotation with incident response and root cause analysis.
  • •Develop backend features for the platform, including Kubernetes controllers, operators, and CRDs to extend capabilities.
  • •Improve observability, monitoring, deployment reliability, error handling, and client tooling; write idiomatic Go with unit/integration tests and enforce quality with golangci-lint.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of software/platform engineering experience.
  • •2+ years of Go in production environments.
  • •2+ years of Kubernetes operations, including building, debugging, and scaling clusters.

  • •Be able to work directly with PostgreSQL (not dependent on ORMs) and perform production administration such as migrations, replication, and performance tuning.
