Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct periodic site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure work proceeds in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • •Review contractors’ direct cost payment requisitions, budget status, subcontracts/bonds/subcontractor default insurance, and change orders.
  • •Review developer monthly job cost reports, construction and disbursement schedules, lien waivers, and other supporting documentation (including permits/approvals and related reports).
  • •Prepare project status reports and recommend the release of construction funds; analyze direct/indirect cost budgets with estimate backup.
  • •Prepare construction risk assessment reports and review construction agreement terms, subcontracts, design agreements, and qualification statements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 135,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7 years of full-time paid professional experience in construction and/or project/construction management for commercial and/or public/educational facility construction.
  • •At least 4 years of the 7 with full responsibility coordinating complex projects valued over $20M.
  • •BS/BA degree required (in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field).
  • •Experience with the full preconstruction and construction management lifecycle, including project budgeting, scheduling, reporting, and leadership.
  • •OSHA 10-hour minimum and strong written/verbal communication skills; ability to read architectural drawings and understand contracts, leases, and construction practices.
