Provide comprehensive personal financial counseling to military service members and their families at Fort Polk, coordinating education, budgeting, and financial planning services. Lead one-on-one sessions, group workshops, and virtual counseling, collaborating with installation leadership to meet DoD program requirements and assist financial literacy across the military lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
•Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
•Develop and disseminate informational financial materials to service members and families.
•Coordinate, publicize and conduct Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
•Utilize virtual counseling or electronic modes of communication (web-based chat, video teleconferencing) when required by contract.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree required; may consider associate degree plus 4 years experience or high school diploma plus 6 years experience in lieu of bachelor’s
•3+ years of financial counseling experience
•Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English
•If required by contract, bilingual in English and Spanish
•Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification
