Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
  • •Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
  • •Develop and disseminate informational financial materials to service members and families.
  • •Coordinate, publicize and conduct Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
  • •Utilize virtual counseling or electronic modes of communication (web-based chat, video teleconferencing) when required by contract.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; may consider associate degree plus 4 years experience or high school diploma plus 6 years experience in lieu of bachelor’s
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English
  • •If required by contract, bilingual in English and Spanish
  • •Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification
