Key Responsibilities

  • •Own Higher Education and K-12 product vision, strategy, and multi-horizon roadmap aligned to platform strategy and commercial growth targets.
  • •Lead a prioritized product backlog with dedicated engineering capacity, defining outcomes, success metrics, release plans, and quality criteria.
  • •Translate sector expertise into investment-backed product requirements, including problem statements, opportunity sizing, and build-vs-partner decisions.
  • •Define HE and K-12 solution blueprints, reference configurations, and pre-built templates; ensure requirements reflect in platform investment across finance, HR, procurement, and research management.
  • •Partner with industry leaders and strategic customers to validate roadmap direction, ensure regulatory/accessibility/compliance coverage, track adoption and customer impact outcomes, and monitor competitive landscape.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven product management experience building enterprise software for higher education institutions or K-12 school boards (ERP, finance systems, or enterprise SaaS).
  • •Deep knowledge of higher education finance, including research grant accounting and fund/restricted-fund accounting.
  • •Working knowledge of K-12 provincial ministry funding formulas, trustee governance, and collective agreement administration.
  • •Understanding of student lifecycle interfaces (financial aid, tuition management, and integration with student information systems) and their ERP demands.
  • •Commercial orientation and strong communication with senior finance and academic/school board leadership.
