Job Summary

Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on aerospace products using methods such as liquid penetrant (PT), magnetic particle (MT), ultrasonic (UT), eddy current (ET), and radiographic (RT). Work with digital and automated inspection systems and develop program-specific NDT documentation. Interpret codes, standards, and contractual specifications, and help resolve technical issues by developing processes, auditing suppliers, and preparing certification training and examinations.

•Conduct NDT inspections on aerospace products using PT, MT, UT, ET, and/or RT methods.
•Develop, deploy, and implement NDT tests/inspections and data collection techniques using evolving technology.
•Develop program-specific NDT documents and procedures for new or revised NDT methods.
•Interpret codes, standards, and contractual specifications controlling the NDT method at the site/program(s).
•Develop certification training/examinations and provide guidance/supervision to trainees and Level I/II certified personnel.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Formal, documented hours of NDT training/experience or military equivalent.

•More than 5 years of experience interpreting/developing policies, practices, processes, and procedures for technical documentation to ensure quality product delivery.
