Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide on-site support for field inspections, condition assessments, and run/repair/replace recommendations for pumps and select auxiliary equipment.
  • •Evaluate component condition, repair options, and perform risk assessments for maintenance activities.
  • •Coordinate repair activities with vendors/contractors, other divisions, and departments; qualify vendors and suppliers.
  • •Perform field inspections and measurements; inspect completed work or work in progress to assure job quality.
  • •Perform root cause analysis, develop quality work plans and technical specifications, and prepare written reports and engineering calculations as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate engineering discipline plus 5 years of experience in pump maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting.
  • •Fundamental knowledge of vibration analysis and balancing of rotating equipment.
  • •Fundamental knowledge of working materials and metallurgy of pumps and components.
  • •Knowledge of pump repair specifications (API).
  • •Strong understanding of mechanical systems and mechanical drawings; knowledge of machining principles and general welding processes.
