Key Responsibilities

•Lead and own supplier quality initiatives for battery powertrain components across suppliers and internal teams.
•Support powertrain/battery component testing, including Acceptance Test Procedures and environmental/stress testing to ensure safety-critical performance.
•Apply APQP/PPAP (AS9145) to ensure supplier designs and processes meet all requirements through robust verification and validation.
•Serve as a technical liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders (Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Program Management) and support drawing reviews and manufacturability assessments during new product introductions and changes.
•Evaluate supplier readiness and scalability from prototype to higher-rate, fully industrialized manufacturing environments.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 104,600 - 135,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Engineering, with a focus on Battery components (cells, modules, packs, electronics)
•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering
•Experience in Functional Testing of powertrain or battery components, including Acceptance Test Procedures, bench testing, and environmental/stress testing
•Strong command of AS9145 (APQP/PPAP) and ensuring supplier "Black Box" compliance through Design Verification and Process Validation
•Experience as a technical liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders (Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Program Management) and supporting design reviews and manufacturability assessments
