Key Responsibilities

  • •Shape supplier engagement strategies and teaming arrangements considering program requirements and geopolitical dynamics.
  • •Create and maintain BDS-level category and spend/competitor intelligence, including monitoring M&A and emerging supplier capabilities.
  • •Lead end-to-end supply chain architecture development for major new defense programs and derivative aerospace efforts.
  • •Drive predictive supply chain risk mitigation planning and implement predictive risk models to neutralize disruptions.
  • •Oversee maintenance of the Recommended Bidder Identification tool and partner with GovOps and BDS Law to ensure compliance with Department of War regulatory changes.

Key Requirements

  • •At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader/temporary manager/manager experience) or completion of Boeing’s “Exploring Leadership” course.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, International Relations, or a related field.
  • •More than 5 years of experience in supply chain strategy, strategic sourcing, or procurement (ideally aerospace, defense, or highly regulated heavy industry).
  • •Experience with production program oversight, supplier management, and risk management.
  • •Experience with business intelligence/data analytics tools and applications (e.g., IBM Cognos Analytics, SQL, Tableau, Google Analytics).
