Job Summary

Provide subject matter technical support and leadership for multi-site building and infrastructure projects across public and private sectors. Oversee structural investigations, inspections, and due diligence, and guide concept development through construction and rehabilitation. Prepare construction plans, specifications, and safety/phasing inputs while ensuring designs meet applicable codes and permits. Lead larger structural project efforts, supervise teams and subcontractors, and produce technical reports for risk, safety, and future-ready outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee collection, compilation, and analysis of site, survey, blueprint, GIS, geotechnical, hydrologic, and subsurface utility data for project development.
•Lead complex structural engineering investigations and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions to assess code and permit conformance.
•Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates, including safety and phasing plans and updated infrastructure layout plans with coordination across stakeholders.
•Manage structural and civil engineering work from project inception through completion, including design, construction, rehabilitation, and remediation.
•Supervise larger-scale structural projects by overseeing budgets, monitoring events and expenses, guiding contributors, and supervising subcontractors, contract work, and employees.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or closely related discipline).
•10+ years of post-education engineering experience with structural or civil design.
•Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
•Strong knowledge of structural/civil construction laws, codes, regulations, and compliance/record-keeping requirements.
•Proficiency with complex technical computations and calculations, and with structural engineering design software and tools.
