Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee collection, compilation, and analysis of site, survey, blueprint, GIS, geotechnical, hydrologic, and subsurface utility data for project development.
  • •Lead complex structural engineering investigations and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions to assess code and permit conformance.
  • •Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates, including safety and phasing plans and updated infrastructure layout plans with coordination across stakeholders.
  • •Manage structural and civil engineering work from project inception through completion, including design, construction, rehabilitation, and remediation.
  • •Supervise larger-scale structural projects by overseeing budgets, monitoring events and expenses, guiding contributors, and supervising subcontractors, contract work, and employees.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or closely related discipline).
  • •10+ years of post-education engineering experience with structural or civil design.
  • •Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
  • •Strong knowledge of structural/civil construction laws, codes, regulations, and compliance/record-keeping requirements.
  • •Proficiency with complex technical computations and calculations, and with structural engineering design software and tools.
