Key Responsibilities

  • •Under strict supervision, assist with rigging-up and rigging-down cementing service equipment, including spotting cement storage vessels and pre-mixing spacer fluids.
  • •Learn and support oil well operations including pressure/volume calculations, plug landing pressures, hydrostatic/differential pressure, and bulk cement blending with additives and weighted spacers.
  • •Assist in operating cement pumping and mixed equipment, blenders, additive metering systems, centrifugal pumps, data acquisition systems, ADC systems, delivery and storage systems, and plug releasing tools.
  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete associated paperwork/reports.
  • •Follow HSE and environmental procedures and regulations, promote safety awareness and quality improvement, and ensure correct line-up of valves on bulk systems and surface manifold equipment.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 18.5 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Work authorization: candidates not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered; Halliburton will not sponsor work visas for this position.
  • •Must have 3-6 months of experience as Operator Assistant I – Cementing or 1 year of related work experience in oilfield services.
  • •Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement required, plus manual transmission experience and a satisfactory driver record with no DWI/DUI convictions in the past three years.
  • •Able to lift 60 lbs; pass background, physical, and drug screen; and follow routine oral and written instructions while performing basic math.
