Job Summary

Support operations at CRH Canada’s Dufferin Concrete in Kitchener by performing plant and field testing of concrete and aggregate materials. Add materials to ready-mixed concrete trucks, help with plant upkeep, and complete general concrete and aggregate lab duties. Communicate daily with operations and quality teams while following health and safety directives and providing additional support to managers and supervisors as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform plant and field testing of concrete and aggregate materials.
•Add materials to ready-mixed concrete trucks and support general plant upkeep duties.
•Communicate daily with operations and quality departments.
•Complete general concrete and aggregate laboratory duties.
•Follow health and safety directives and assist managers and supervisors with other assigned work as required.

Salary: USD 19 hourly

Key Requirements

•Enrolled in a Diploma or Degree in Civil, Construction, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering Technology (or similar field).
•Follow health and safety directives in accordance with legislative and CRH requirements.
•Demonstrate strong analytical skills.
•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
•Must have a valid G driver’s license.
