Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure compliance with the FCA CASS 5 client money requirements by maintaining governance and providing guidance to the business and projects.
  • •Oversee fiduciary assets and liabilities accounting, including financial control/oversight and analytics on the fiduciary balance sheet.
  • •Oversee completion of client money calculations, lead the client money committee, and own procedures and the risk & controls matrix.
  • •Ensure completion of the external client money audit and drive process improvements and project-based work to strengthen controls and compliance.
  • •Support timely month-end reporting by ensuring financial close activities, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations, issue resolution, responding to queries, and providing insightful analysis; deliver an annual client money training module.

  • •Qualified accountant with expertise in the FCA CASS 5 client money rules.
  • •Background in an auditing, accounting, or reporting function.
  • •Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
