Job Summary

Lead product modernization for USAA’s P&C Auto product Design, Build, and Modernization area, guiding a team to design and launch digital-first offerings on a new technology stack. Oversee product launch and maturation in target markets, conduct post-launch monitoring and underwriting performance analysis, and coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to ensure regulatory-ready execution across distribution channels. Translate data into product strategy, value propositions, and measurable performance improvements.

•Oversee post-launch monitoring, maintenance, and underwriting performance for in-market products based on member needs and competitive changes.
•Evaluate buy/build/ally decisions for individual product(s) and generate coverage and product solutions for member needs.
•Conduct complex analysis of internal and external data to support product strategy and competitive intelligence.
•Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk partners to ensure compliant product design and implementation, and manage risks in line with policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or Statistics, or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
•8 years of relevant experience in Actuary, Underwriting, Marketing, Operations, Financial Services, or relevant military experience.
•Extensive experience developing, deploying, and supporting product and/or an integrated suite of products.
•Experience working through an agile product development process while managing multiple products simultaneously.
•Knowledge and application of Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC).
