Job Summary

Train to learn all aspects of a Customer Delivery Specialist role, including safe and efficient operation of delivery vehicles and duties that support world-class customer service. During training, you’ll perform DOT-compliant pre/post-trip inspections, safely drive routes, service scheduled customers by shift end, deliver and execute promotions, and unload, merchandise, and rotate products while maintaining required records and reporting issues.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct DOT-compliant pre- and post-trip truck inspections and promptly report problems to the Fleet department.
•Safely drive and maneuver delivery trucks (under or over 26,000 lbs GVW) and comply with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
•Service scheduled customers by the end of shift according to PBV and customer standards, including delivering product to stores.
•Execute delivery on promotions, and unload, merchandise, and rotate product in accounts to PBV and customer standards (e.g., shelves/coolers, displays, refilling out-of-stocks, removing out-of-date products).
•Establish positive relationships with store contacts, obtain required signatures/stamps for accurate invoice settlement, and communicate issues to appropriate store personnel and management.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a DOT physical prior to first day of employment.
•Ability to obtain a CDL permit by the 15th business day and 45 business days from hire if CDL is not currently held.
•Positive attitude, detail oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
•Ability to perform basic financial calculations and meet PBV driving qualifications, including regular and predictable attendance.
