Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and maintain enterprise Data Governance standards, policies, controls, and governance operating procedures aligned to business objectives.
  • •Lead organizational change management and training to drive adoption of Data Governance and Privacy policies, processes, and tools.
  • •Own the enterprise-wide Data Governance operating model, including governance councils/working groups, accountability across data roles, and development of governance KPIs and maturity roadmap.
  • •Ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance (including UAE PDPL and GDPR) by leading PIA/DPIA, retention policies, compliance reviews, audits, and remediation programmes.
  • •Lead end-to-end implementation and continuous enhancement of the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform, including configuring data catalog, glossary, quality, lineage, workflow capabilities, and building governance dashboards.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10 years leading enterprise Data Governance programmes.
  • •Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience implementing the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform.
  • •Proven experience establishing enterprise Data Governance operating models and onboarding Business Data Owners and Data Stewards across multiple business units.
  • •Strong experience implementing Data Privacy and Data Compliance programmes, including governance of retention policies and compliance reviews.
  • •Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Management, or related fields; advanced degrees/certifications in Data Governance (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) are advantageous.
