Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and execute design engineering projects for the medium-voltage circuit breaker product line, from inception through production implementation.
  • •Drive new product planning, development, and production launch, compiling requirements and producing conceptual and detailed designs.
  • •Build prototypes and plan/execute test programs to validate designs and improve performance and robustness.
  • •Design for manufacturing by working with process owners to establish process controls and create cost-effective, defect-free manufacturing plans.
  • •Lead stage-gate activities, participate in project reviews, maintain third-party certifications, and use DFSS and simulation to improve margin and reduce costs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering.
  • •7 years of experience in a related field focused on new product development and design.
  • •Experience in Industrial Power Distribution, Switching Devices, or Switchgear (2-3 years preferred).
  • •Design for Six-Sigma (DFSS) trained and/or certified.
  • •Ability to accommodate 10–25% domestic and occasional international travel annually.
