Job Summary

Support the Hawk Lead-In-Fighter program by performing scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities across Mechanical, Avionics, and Armament trades. Diagnose and maintain avionics and integrated electrical systems, service propulsion and related mechanical components, and maintain aircraft weapon systems and emergency escape/egress functions. Work to authorised technical data and regulatory airworthiness standards within a high-performance team, reporting to a Team Leader.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities for the Hawk Lead-In-Fighter program in accordance with authorised technical data and regulatory standards.
•Mechanical: maintain hydraulic, environmental, pneumatic, and propulsion systems (and related components/propellers) to meet regulatory and airworthiness requirements.
•Avionics: carry out fault diagnosis and maintenance of avionics and integrated aircraft electrical systems, ensuring compliance with technical publications and certification requirements.
•Armament: maintain emergency escape/egress systems and aircraft weapon systems, including load and handling of aircraft stores.

Key Requirements

•Certificate IV in Aeroskills trade or equivalent (mandatory).
•Australian citizenship (mandatory).
•Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance and comply with ITAR (mandatory).
•Strong attention to detail and a compliance mindset.
•Ability to work in high-performance team environments and perform maintenance to authorised technical data and regulatory standards.
