Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose faults and repair/replace components across electrical, brake/cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics, steering, engines, transmissions, clutches, and differentials.
  • •Service and diagnose refrigeration equipment (including ThermoKing and Carrier) and compressors/coils/electrical components.
  • •Maintain parts inventory and manage the service vehicle, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Complete repair orders and DOT forms accurately, documenting work with pictures and uploading via iOS and the TRAIT application.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED with 3 years of related experience (or 5 years’ experience or relevant degree/certification).
  • •1+ year of welding experience.
  • •Possess and supply a set of required hand tools.
  • •Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
  • •Hold a valid driver’s license and be able to pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or submit a DOT medical card with >4 months validity).
