Key Responsibilities

  • •Design modular hardware architectures for tactical networking platforms in an R&D context.
  • •Perform technical studies and preliminary design for defense and mission-critical communications hardware architectures.
  • •Evaluate alternative hardware solutions for scalability, reliability, maintainability, and deployment constraints across land, naval, and airborne domains.
  • •Analyze defense and industry frameworks (e.g., MOSA, FMN, OpenVPX/SOSA) and define computing, networking, storage, timing, power, and expansion requirements.
  • •Support in-service engineering for Sonar Systems, including obsolescence analysis, interface/integration assessment, and review of technical documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree in Engineering (Telecommunications, Electronics, Robotics, Automation), Physics or Mathematics.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systems-oriented mindset.
  • •Good understanding of engineering principles applied to hardware/software systems.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
