Key Responsibilities

  • •Research and map energy transition infrastructure investment opportunities across Asia Pacific (excluding mainland China), focusing on Australia and secondary focus on Korea.
  • •Source aligned investment opportunities, complete initial screening, and present preliminary analysis to senior team members.
  • •Project-manage end-to-end due diligence and execution, including managing external advisers, preparing business plans, and leading commercial negotiations.
  • •Produce investment analysis and financial cash flow models to support internal papers and governance, including liaison with approval functions and the Investment Committee.
  • •Actively manage investments through the hold period, including oversight of counterparties/portfolio companies, and embed ESG considerations into the investment approach.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced experience in energy transition, infrastructure and/or renewables investing.
  • •Advanced market knowledge across Asia Pacific energy transition infrastructure, with strong familiarity with Australia.
  • •Advanced experience building and leveraging a relevant regional network across Asia Pacific (especially Australia).
  • •Advanced experience in investment due diligence and execution, including developing business plans and structuring transactions.
  • •Advanced experience in financial modelling (including cash flow modelling) and assessing sector trends, value drivers, valuations, and investment terms.
