Key Responsibilities

•Operate plant machinery as directed while following safety policies and procedures to produce a superior product.
•Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
•Set stops or guides to specific lengths using scale, rule, or templates.
•Observe and inspect machine operation and product for defects, malfunctions, inconsistencies, or abnormal appearance.
•Perform routine machine maintenance, assist other operators with setups, and maintain housekeeping in assigned areas.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/equivalent; or at least 1 month of related trades experience; or equivalent education and experience.
•Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

•Ability to perform basic math calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
•Experience working with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
