Job Summary

Lead the execution of large, multi-year environmental mine closure and reclamation programs, serving as the primary interface with the client, subcontractors, internal technical teams, and regulators. Own program governance, reporting, risk management, and performance metrics while ensuring safe, on-schedule, and on-budget delivery. Oversee commercial performance, change orders, and claims support, and lead a multidisciplinary team spanning engineering, science, construction management, field personnel, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead overall execution of a multi-million-dollar environmental mine closure program across multiple concurrent projects.
•Develop and execute annual and multi-year program delivery strategies, including program governance, reporting, risk management, and performance metrics.
•Serve as senior day-to-day representative to the client, building executive relationships and facilitating program reviews/steering committees.
•Provide leadership across construction management, environmental compliance, and Sustain Capital Maintenance work to meet safety, schedule, budget, and permit commitments.
•Manage program financial performance (forecasts, revenue/margin/backlog/utilization) and support change order negotiations, subcontractor performance review, and claims management.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 160,000 - 200,000 annually

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
•15+ years delivering environmental remediation, mine closure, or heavy civil infrastructure projects.
•7+ years leading large multidisciplinary project teams.
•Demonstrated experience managing programs exceeding $25 million annually.
•Strong understanding of mine closure, reclamation, water treatment, earthworks/civil projects, and environmental permitting.
