Job Summary

Execute investigations of suspicious and/or criminal activity involving Texas Capital Bank, its customers, and employees. Conduct complex research, analysis, interviews, and documentation, including preparation and filing of SARs in line with BSA/AML requirements. Advise Senior Management on emerging fraud issues, review and draft policies and procedures, recommend internal control improvements, and support law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and auditors.

•Investigate and document internal and external fraud cases, including complex research and analysis.
•Prepare high-quality investigative reports and ensure efficient case documentation and review within enterprise fraud management.
•Conduct interviews with suspects and witnesses and file SARs as applicable to assigned cases.
•Identify and analyze points of compromise and recommend modifications to internal controls or procedures to enhance the fraud program.
•Advise Senior Management and support regulatory, law enforcement, and auditor inquiries; collaborate with other departments and provide testimony if called upon.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of bank fraud investigation experience across types such as wire fraud, ACH fraud, counterfeit checks, and forgeries, including knowledge of banking operations and relevant regulations.
•OR 5+ years of experience investigating criminal financial crimes, including bank fraud types such as BEC, wire fraud, and ACH fraud.
•5 years of experience conducting interviews and obtaining statements and confessions.
•5 years of experience documenting and preparing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
•CFE/CAFP/CFCI certification preferred (certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire) and strong knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and suspicious activity reporting requirements.
