Key Responsibilities

•Develop electrical design documents for water/wastewater facilities, including diagrams, calculations, equipment layouts, schedules, and grounding/lightning protection plans.
•Assist with motor control systems, standby power systems, and low-voltage power distribution.
•Under supervision, perform short-circuit, protective device coordination, and arc-flash studies using industry-standard software.
•Draft and edit technical specifications, basis-of-design reports, calculations, and probable construction cost estimates.
•Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support quality reviews, submittal/RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, and commissioning-related field activities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (or demonstrated equivalency).

•Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or the ability to obtain within 12 months.
•Familiarity with NEC (NFPA 70) and IEEE / NFPA 70E practices (preferred).
