Job Summary

Drive the technical vision for AI across 360Learning’s product while coaching a growing AI squad. You’ll work hands-on with agentic features that power smart search, conversational BI, and content generation—owning major architectural decisions from design through production launch. Partner closely with Product and Design, lead performance reviews and career planning, and optimize GenAI systems for latency, reliability, and real-world cost constraints.

Key Responsibilities

•Set the technical direction for AI features alongside the PM’s product vision, including hardest architectural decisions.
•Own end-to-end delivery of new AI features from technical design through production launch.
•Optimize GenAI systems for real-world constraints such as per-request cost, latency, reliability, and scalability.
•Serve as the squad’s point of contact for technical topics and coach AI engineers by unblocking challenges and guiding growth.
•Lead performance reviews and career-path assessments for AI engineers; share best practices and drive process improvements across the squad.

Key Requirements

•4+ years building GenAI/LLM-powered systems from prototype to production deployment.
•Experience serving as a tech lead/mentor/coach for engineers, ideally on a SaaS platform.
•Strong Python experience writing clean, maintainable production code.
•Hands-on experience integrating LLMs (e.g., Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral) and managing token cost, latency, reliability, and hallucinations.
•Familiarity with search/RAG/vector databases, agents, LLM observability tools (e.g., Langfuse), and model evaluation.
