Key Responsibilities

•Install new instrumentation equipment to company and vendor safety/quality standards while minimizing disruption to processing plant operation and production.
•Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of new instrumentation equipment/devices with teammates.
•Operate instrumentation and control equipment by understanding control philosophies mapped into PLC and SCADA systems.
•Calibrate field instrumentation to required resolution and accuracy, including correct hardwired and/or parameter settings.
•Maintain correctly coded PLC and SCADA parameters for display on HMI units and follow planned preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Requirements

•Minimum Grade 12 (or equivalent).
•Qualified Instrumentation Technician.
•Must be registered with EIZ.
•All academic certificates must be certified by ZAQA.
•3+ years of relevant experience as an Instrumentation Technician.
