Job Summary

Lead and conduct complex internal investigations into ethics and compliance-related misconduct, ensuring timely and objective outcomes. Plan evidence review, stakeholder interviews, and fact-finding, then draft detailed investigation reports and board-level updates for Helpline concerns. Provide enterprise guidance on ethics, compliance, fraud prevention, and conflicts of interest, and develop compliance training and process improvements that mitigate risk and reinforce a culture of integrity.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and conduct internal investigations into ethics and compliance-related misconduct with timely, objective, and thorough outcomes.
•Plan investigations, including evidence review, stakeholder interviews, fact-finding, and preparation of detailed investigation reports.
•Draft and present clear, evidence-based findings, conclusions, and recommendations for leadership review, including board-level reporting on Helpline concerns.
•Collaborate with Human Resources, Legal, Internal Audit, Labor Relations, and other partners to ensure consistency and quality in investigation processes.
•Provide enterprise-wide guidance on ethics, compliance, fraud prevention, conflicts of interest, policy interpretation, and develop compliance training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 120,000 - 165,000 annually

Key Requirements

•University degree in a related discipline with 7+ years of directly related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
•Proven experience conducting workplace, ethics, compliance, or regulatory investigations in a complex organizational environment.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills to translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
•Ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders and maintaining cross-functional alignment.
•Working knowledge of ethics, compliance, governance, and regulatory frameworks; professional certifications and pipeline-industry knowledge are assets.
