Job Summary

Design and develop power tool test fixtures and equipment as part of the MTC Monterrey team. Build advanced electric-mechanical test systems, including electrical/electronic development, HMI and PLC programming, LabVIEW programming, and robot control system interface programming. Troubleshoot and maintain reliability test equipment, perform electric-parameter calibrations, and maintain technical procedures, documentation, and quality/security/delivery/cost/production metrics.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead rig and fixture work for test systems and coordinate advanced test fixture systems, focusing on electrical fixtures and rigs development.
•Develop advanced electric-mechanical test fixture/equipment for power tool testing, including PLC/HMI and LabVIEW programming.
•Design control systems for robots, focusing on PLC and robot interface design and programming.
•Provide test support to new product development and development-to-value projects.
•Troubleshoot and maintain FSTC reliability test equipment; execute routine calibrations and maintain technical procedures and required documentation.

Key Requirements

•1-2 years of working experience in electrical and mechanical automation equipment operation or maintenance/repairing.
•Strong background in PLC programming, LabVIEW programming, and electric or electronic design.
•Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
•College degree above, major in Electrical or Mechanical.
•Ability to use standard electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, and work with verbal directions and written procedures.
