Key Responsibilities

  • •Enforce dbt architectural standards and provide technical escalation for Data Engineers and SMEs.
  • •Lead day-to-day development across wave-based migration plans, coordinating sequencing and dependencies with the Offshore Project Manager.
  • •Ensure accurate translation of Informatica logic into dbt and Python extract/load scripts, including non-CDC idempotent batch behavior validation.
  • •Troubleshoot and remediate defects during SIT and UAT, performing root-cause analysis and validation against agreed criteria.
  • •Produce runbooks and design artifacts, support training and onboarding, and support hypercare handover to steady-state operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Own and enforce dbt architectural standards, coding conventions, and model layering across staging, intermediate, and marts.
  • •Review and approve dbt models, Python extract/load scripts, and associated testing artifacts.
  • •Hands-on experience developing and configuring Apache Airflow DAGs with control and authentication integration.
  • •Demonstrated use of Docker and Docker Compose for multi-service deployments on Linux VMs, including troubleshooting container issues.
  • •Experience translating Informatica constructs (lookups, aggregators, routers) into efficient SQL/dbt patterns and validating non-CDC load idempotent batch logic.
